Hello! I’m Jess.

I am Fine-Arts Florist based in Ashland, Ohio.

 I reside & have my home studio within a cedar-sided saltbox cottage, with my husband Nick & our kitties, Elouise and Fig.

I am torn in two between a homebody and an adventurer. I love a long walk where I’ll likely forage a thing or two. I love being in the mountains. I love a cozy evening at home by lantern light. I love a big belly laugh with a friend.     

Being provided the gift of a childhood in rural Ohio, my connection to nature was instilled early. Growing up surrounded by the bountiful treasures our four seasons have to offer, I learned to behold the intricacies and deep beauty of each one, and eventually that lead to forming a life that moved with the seasons. 

This organically drew me to flowers. I could not resist their call.

My approach to floral design honors and celebrates the seasons and the poetic nature of flowers.  

I see my process as an act of worship of God, as well as an act of resilience as a person with chronic pain.  This profound practice of beholding the beauty of flowers is an act of reverence, supplication & personal healing for me. 

My longing is to invite people into this practice through my floral offerings. I am honored to weave the love language and medicine of flowers into your lives.
